  • Obama left room to allow cloning as long as it's not for human reproduction. Of course, cloning is reproductive, but I think what he meant by that is that we can clone people as long as we kill off them or don't allow them to grow into fullsized people.

  • You'll notice that Obama left room for cloning for non-reproductive cloning. I don't think too many people are in favor of that, so he didn't come out and say it. But he only said he wouldn't allow reproductive cloning.

  • Um... we do make laws about things like murder and theft and don't leave everything up to the choice of people. I'm all for rights, but the right to choose in this case needs to be given up since there is a higher right, the right to life involved.
